According to its latest report on regional economic prospects, the EBRD forecasts a growth rate of the Moroccan economy of 4.5% in 2021.

In May 2021, the price index of "Manufacturing industries excluding oil refining" rose by 0.4% from the previous month. Meanwhile, the production price indices for the "mining industries", "production and distribution of electricity" and "production and distribution of water" remained stable during the same period.
| SENEGAL | ECONOMY | GDP up 5.1% in Q1 2021
According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography, Senegal's GDP jumped by 5.1% in Q1 2021 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. This results from the increase in the activities of the secondary (+7.0%), tertiary (+4.6%) and primary (+3.0%) sectors.
