According to the CMI, the number of online payment transactions at the end of May 2021 stood at 7,385,057, i.e. an increase of 62.5%. In value, the amount of these operations shows an increase of 36.2% compared to the same period of last year to settle at MAD 2.9 Bn.

According to Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH), Cameroon exported at the end of April 2021, 13.25 million barrels of oil, and 809,352 m3 of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), recording respective growths of 42% and 8% year-on-year. These exports gener-ated revenues of FCFA 121.7 Bn ($ 226 Mn) to the Public Treasury.
