| MOROCCO | MAROC TELECOM | Decision of the Casablanca Commercial Court of Appeal
In a press release, Maroc Telecom announces that it has taken note of the judgment of the Casablanca Commercial Court of Appeal, rendered on July 3rd 2024, rejecting its appeal and confirming the judgment rendered by the Rabat Commercial Court having ordered Maroc Telecom to pay a compensation worth MAD 6.38 Bn to the company Wana Corporate.
Maroc Telecom plans to exercise all possible appeals against this decision.

| BURKINA FASO | GDP | A growth rate of 5.7% in Q1 2024
According to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography of Burkina Faso (INSD), the growth rate of the Burkinabe econo-my reached 5.7% in the first quarter of 2024. This was driven by the growth of the three sectors : primary (+6.7%), secondary (+5.7%) and tertiary (+5.3%).
