| MOROCCO | OFFICIAL RESERVE ASSETS | An increase of 5.2% y-o-y at the end of January 2022

At the end of January 2022, Morocco's Official Reserve Assets reached MAD 330.3 Bn. These increased by 5.2% year-on-year and 0.4% compared to the previous week.

| MOROCCO | INSURANCE | Sector’s revenue up 10% in 2021
According to the insurance control authority “ACAPS” , insurance sector’s revenue in Morocco reached MAD 50.3 Bn in 2021, up 10% compared to 2020. In details, premiums issued for the Life activity increased by 11.7% to MAD 22.8 Bn, while those for the Non-Life activity jumped by 8.6% to MAD 27.5 Bn.

| CAMEROON | INFLATION | Prices up 3% in Yaoundé and Douala in December 2021
According to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Cameroon, household final consumer prices in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala increased by 3.1% and 2.9% respectively in December 2021 compared to the same period of 2020.
