| MOROCCO | BANK CARDS | The number of transactions up 34% at the end of September 2021
According to the CMI, the number of payment transactions carried out by bank cards stood at 76,510,947 at the end of September 2021, i.e. an increase of 33.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. Likewise, the amount of these operations stands at MAD 29.1 Bn, up 27.7% during the same period.

| TUNISIA | INFLATION | The inflation rate remained stable at 6.2% in September 2021
In September 2021, the inflation rate in Tunisia remained stable at 6.2% after a decrease of 0.2 point the previous month. This is explained, on the one hand, by the acceleration in the pace of increase in education prices (6.1% against 5.9% in August) and in the prices of leisure and cultural products and services (5.0% against 4.1% in August) and on the other hand, by the deceleration in the pace of increase in food prices (7.2% against 7.4% in August).
