| MOROCCO | JET CONTRACTORS | Signing with Suez an agreement for waste treatment
In a press release, SUEZ and its partners SOMAGEC and Jet Contractors announce the entry into force of the contract with the Etablissement de Coopération Intercommunale AL ASSIMA for the construction and operation of the Oum Azza waste treatment and recovery centre in the Rabat region.
This centre, which receives 850,000 tons of waste per will become a “green landfill”, a waste treatment center that contributes to the circular economy. Less than half of the waste received will be landfilled (47%). The liquid residues (leachate) will be treated in an exemplary manner, in particular to produce biogas.

At the end of September 2024, Sonatel’s recorded a revenue of FCFA 1,319 Bn, up 9.8% year-on-year. Likewise, the operator's net income rose by 20.1% to settle at FCFA 288.9 Bn during the same period.

| MOROCCO | AIR TRAFFIC | An increase of 20% at the end of September 2024
In September 2024, air traffic stood at 2,552,687 passengers, up 29% compared to the same period of the previous year. In this context, Morocco's airports welcomed 24,274,324 passengers at the end of September 2024, i.e. an increase of 20% year-on-year.
