| MOROCCO | AGRICULTURE | The sector would grow by 3% during the 2022-2023 crop
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, the agricultural sector is expected to grow by 3% for the 2022-2023 crop, despite unfavorable climatic and water conditions combined with the increase in production costs. Recall that the agricultural sector recorded a decline of -14.8% during the previous crop.

According to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INStaD), Benin's goods exports recorded a decrease of 10.0% in Q2 2023 to FCFA 167.0 Bn. Likewise, imports of goods fell by 7.2% during the same period to stand at FCFA 514.5 Bn.
