| MOROCCO | PORT TRAFFIC | An increase of 3% at the end of September 2023
According to the latest report of the Ministry of Equipment and Water on port activities in Morocco, the overall volume of commercial traffic handled by Moroccan ports, including transshipment, amounted to 155.2 million tons at the end of September 2023 compared to 151.0 million tons during the same period of the previous year, thus recording an increase of 2.8%.
| WAEMU | INFLATION | An inflation rate of 2.7% in September 2023
According to the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), inflation in WAEMU countries stood at 2.7% year-on-year in September 2023. Note that this is mainly attributed to the increase in the prices of food products and transport.
