| MOROCCO | FISHING | Sector’s revenue up 28% at the end of May 2021
According to the National Fisheries Office, the volume of landings of coastal and artisanal fishery products increased by 1% at the end of May 2021 to stand at 413,900 tons. Likewise, sector's revenue jumped by 28% compared to the same period of the previous year to MAD 3.6 Bn.
| CAMEROON | FINANCING | A loan of FCFA 54 Bn from the World Bank
Cameroon and the World Bank (WB) signed on June 16th 2021 in Yaoundé, a loan agreement of FCFA 54.18 Bn, to support the ef-forts of the government in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and to improve the living conditions of the populations. As a reminder, all of the WB's current commitments in Cameroon amount to approximately $ 1.75 Bn (FCFA 986.5 Bn) for 15 active projects.
