According to the CMI, the number of contactless payment transactions reached 8,787,011 at the end of May 2021. In value, the amount of these operations settled at MAD 1.6 Bn during the same period.

According to the National Institute of Statistics, Economic and Demographic Studies, Togo's Harmonized National Consumer Pric-es Index rose by 1.0% in May 2021, compared to the previous month. Year-on-year, the inflation rate stands at +3.8% above the community convergence threshold set at 3.0% by WAEMU.
