| MOROCCO | INFLATION | An inflation rate of 1.8% in June 2024
In June 2024, the Consumer Prices Index rose by 0.4% compared to May 2024, taking into account the increase of 0.5% in the food products index and of 0.3% in the non-food products index. Year-on-year, the inflation rate stands at 1.8% in June 2024.
Note that the underlying inflation indicator which excludes products at volatile prices and products at public tariffs, increased by 0.3% in June 2024 compared to the previous month and by 2.4% compared to June 2023.

According to the National Institute of Statistics of Cameroon, the Consumer Price Index rose by 0.4% in June 2024 compared to the previous month. On an annual basis, the inflation rate stood at 5.7% during the same period.
