| SENEGAL | SONATEL | The telecom operator obtains its first 5G license
In a press release, the Telecommunications and Posts Regulatory Authority (ARTP) of Senegal has awarded a provisional 5G license to the National Telecommunications Company of Senegal (SONATEL) for an amount of FCFA 34.5 Bn ($ 58.7 million).

In June 2023, air traffic stood at 2,115,124 passengers, representing a recovery rate of 101% compared to the same period of 2019. It should be noted that airports in Morocco welcomed 12,197,975 passengers in H1 2023 against 11,669,833 passengers in H1 2019, i.e. a recovery rate of 105%.
