| MOROCCO | FISHING | Sector’s revenue up 7% in H1 2022
According to the National Fisheries Office, landings of inshore and artisanal fishery products increased by 21% in H1 2022 to stand at 645,044 tons. Likewise, the sector's revenue rose by 7% compared to the same period of the previous year to settle at MAD 4.8 Bn.

According to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography of Burkina Faso (INSD), the Burkinabe economy recorded a growth rate of -0.4% in Q1 2022 y-o-y. This results from the decrease in the secondary sector (-7.2%) against an increase in both primary (+0.8%) and tertiary (+4.4%) sectors.
