| MOROCCO | CEMENT | The national consumption almost stable in 2023
In December 2023, cement sales jumped by 19.1% year-on-year to 1,122,290 tons. In 2023, national cement consumption stood at 12,486,732 tons, recording a slight increase of 0.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

| WEAMU | FUNDING | BOAD authorizes new financing worth FCFA 141 Bn
Following its Board of Directors, held on December 20th 2023, the West African Development Bank authorizes new commitments for a total amount of FCFA 141.3 Bn. Note that the financing of BOAD operations in favor of the Union economies amounts to FCFA 978.7 Bn during the year 2023.
