| MOROCCO | TOURIST ARRIVALS | An all-time high of 14.5 million tourists in 2023
According to the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, tourist arrivals in Morocco reached 1.3 million tourists in December 2023. Over the whole year of 2023, these amounted to 14.5 million tourists. This is an increase of 34% com-pared to 2022 and 12% compared to 2019. Note that Moroccan living abroad represent 51% of these arrivals compared to 49% for foreign tourists.

| CÔTE D’IVOIRE | INFLATION | An inflation rate of 3.9% in December 2023
According to the National Institute of Statistics of Côte d'Ivoire, the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index recorded an increase of 0.9% in December 2023 compared to the previous month. Year-on-year, the inflation rate stood at 3.9%.
