According to the latest forecasts from the World Bank (WB), the growth rate of the Moroccan economy would have stood at 2.8% in 2023. In 2024, the financial institution forecasts a growth rate of 3.1%.

According to the National Fisheries Office, landings of inshore and artisanal fishery products dropped by 11% in 2023 to stand at 1,350,190 tons. Meanwhile, the sector's revenue settled at MAD 10 Bn during the same period, up 3% compared to the previous year.
