According to HCP, the price index for the “Manufacturing industries excluding oil refining” recorded a decline of 0.1% during De-cember 2023 compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the price indices for the “Electricity production and distribution”, “Extractive industries” and “Water production and distribution” sectors remained stable during the same period.

The United Arab Emirates and the Central African Republic have signed an act of collaboration and economic cooperation to de-velop the air transport sector in the Central African Republic and the CEMAC zone. The target of this agreement is to provide the country with a new airport complex including an international airport and several airport infrastructures in Bangui at a cost of FCFA 120.3 Bn.
