In its latest report published on February 9th 2022, the IMF maintains its growth forecasts for the Moroccan economy for the year 2022, i.e. a growth rate of around 3.0%.
| SENEGAL | INFLATION | Prices up 5.5% y-o-y in January 2022
According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD) of Senegal, the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index (IHPC) for the month of January 2022 increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month. Year-on-year, the country's inflation rate stands at 5.5% above the community convergence threshold of 3.0% set by WAEMU.
