| MOROCCO | INFRASTRUCTURE | MAD 4 Bn for the development of the airport infrastructure
According to the Minister of Transport and Logistics, the National Office of Airports (ONDA) has launched projects to raise the capacity of the airports of Tangier, Marrakech and Agadir by 25% to 50%. The cost of these projects amounts to MAD 50 Mn over a period of 15 months. Other projects are also scheduled for the construction of new terminals to support the expected traffic by the year 2040. It is an investment of MAD 4 Bn for an execution period of 3 to 5 years.
| CÔTE D’IVOIRE | GDP | A growth rate of 7.8% in Q2 2022
According to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Côte d’Ivoire, the national GDP displayed a growth rate of 7.8% in the sec-ond quarter of 2022. This results from the growth observed in the three sectors: primary (+2.9%), secondary (+12.3%) and tertiary (+10.3%).
