| BURKINA FASO| GDP | A growth rate of 0.4% in Q3 2022
According to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INSD) of Burkina Faso, the national GDP displayed a growth rate of 0.4% in the third quarter of 2022. This results from the growth dynamics observed in the primary (+7.7%) and tertiary (+8.2%) sectors, while the secondary sector declined by -12.5%.

According to the last report of the Directorate of Financial Studies and Forecasts, the mobile telephone customer base rose by 5.0% at the end of September 2022. Similarly, the fixed-line customer base increased by 5.3% during the same period. Finally, the Internet customer base jumped by 8.0% to 36.6 million subscribers at end of September 2022.
