| MOROCCO | BANK CARDS | The number of transactions up 33% at the end of November 2021
According to the CMI, the number of payment transactions carried out by bank cards stood at 95,519,195 at the end of November 2021, i.e. an increase of 32.8% compared to the same period of the previous year. Likewise, the amount of these operations stands at MAD 36.2 Bn, up 26.5% during the same period.
| NIGER | FUNDING | An amount of more than $ 317 Mn granted by the World Bank
Niger will benefit from a funding of $ 317.5 Mn from the World Bank as part of the project to accelerate access to electricity in Niger. This amount will allow the electrification of the grid, off-grid solar electrification of public institutions and households as well as the establishment of mini-grids powered by photovoltaic solar panels.
