| MOROCCO | SONASID | Obtaining international EPD certification for the Group's long steels
In a press release, Sonasid announces that it has obtained the international environmental product declaration (EPD) certificate for its long steels (reinforcement bars and wire rod). Note that the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a report verified by an independent and internationally recognized third party, providing a set of complete, transparent and reliable information on the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle, in accordance with the ISO 14025 standard.
Recall that Sonasid’s production is based on a 100% recycling model powered 85% by renewable energies.

According to the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), the economic growth of the Union should stand at 5.7% in 2023. Meanwhile, the inflation rate should stand at 3.7% in 2023 against 7.4% a year earlier.
