| MOROCCO | AIR TRAFFIC | A recovery rate of 70% at the end of July 2022
In July 2022, air traffic stood at 2,365,929 passengers, representing a recovery rate of 98% compared to the same period of 2019. It should be noted that airports in Morocco welcomed 9,813,316 passengers over the first seven months of 2022 against 14,074,699 passengers at the end of July 2019, i.e. a recovery rate of 70%.
| SENEGAL | FOREIGN TRADE | Widening of the trade deficit in H1 2022
According to the National Agency of Statistics and Demography (ASND), Senegal’s exports amounted to FCFA 1,718 Bn in H1 2022, up 24.6% compared to the same period of the previous year. Similarly, imports increased by 38.9% to stand at FCFA 3,361 Bn. In this context, the trade deficit settles at FCFA -1,643 Bn at the end of June 2022 against FCFA -1,041 Bn a year earlier.
