| MOROCCO | TOURISM | Figures at the end of February 2023
According to the Tourism Observatory’s latest figures, tourist arrivals amounted to 1,872,698 tourists at the end of February 2023 compared to 332,177 at the end of February 2022 and 1,594,927 at the end of February 2019. This is a recovery rate of 117% compared to the same period of 2019.

At the same time, overnight stays at classified tourist accommodation establishments reached 3,395,635 at the end of February 2023, corresponding to an occupancy rate of 43% against 18% at the end of February 2022 and 41% at the end of February 2019.

| TUNISIA | INFLATION | Inflation rate down to 10.3% in March 2023
According to Tunisia’s National Institute of Statistics (INS), Consumer Prices Index increased by 0.7% in March 2023 compared to the previous month. Year-on-year, the inflation rate stood at 10.3% against 10.4% in February 2023.
The underlying inflation rate (excluding food and energy products) settled at 7.8% during the same period against 7.9% during the previous month.
