| MOROCCO | REAL ESTATE | Housing starts down 2.4% in 2021
According to the Ministry of housing, housing production in Morocco increased by 1.0% in 2021 to 259,167 units. Meanwhile, hous-ing starts fell by 2.4% during the same period to 234,701 units.
Regarding economic and social housing, production reached 108,191 units in 2021, up 6.4%. Likewise, housing starts amounted to 96,107 units, i.e. an increase of 8.8%.

As of April 20th, 2022, Tunisian workers’ remittances amounted to TND 2,068.4 Mn, showing an increase of 14.0% compared to the same period of the previous year.
| TUNISIA | TOURISM | Receipts up 47% as of April 20th 2022
As of April 20th, 2022, tourism receipts stood at TND 659.7 Mn. These show a recovery of 47.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
