| MOROCCO | SURVEY | The capacity utilization rate up 3 pts at 67% in July 2020

The results of Bank Al-Maghrib's monthly business survey for July 2020 show an increase in production as well as in the capacity utilization rate. The latter would have jumped by 3 points from 64% in June to 67% in July. In addition, sales would have increased both on the local market and abroad.

| TUNISIA | TOURISM | Receipts down 61% at the end of August 2020

During the first eight months of 2020, tourism receipts fell by 60.9% to TND 1,472.5 Mn against TND 3,770.8 Mn during the same period of 2019.

| SENEGAL | FOREIGN TRADE | Widening of the trade deficit at the end of July 2020

According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography, Senegal's exports stood at FCFA 169.4 Bn in July 2020, up 8.3% compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, imports fell by 0.7% during the same period to FCFA 328.6 Bn. In this context, the trade deficit stood at FCFA -159.3 Bn in July 2020 against FCFA -174.5 Bn in the previous month. At the end of July 2020, the trade deficit settled at FCFA -1,244.3 Bn against FCFA -1,210.4 Bn during the same period of the year 2019.
