| MOROCCO | BANK LOANS | An increase of 1.6% at the end of July 2021
At the end of July 2021, the outstanding bank loans increased by 1.6% year-on-year to reach MAD 961.3 Bn.
Mortgage loans (MAD 288.3 Bn), treasury loans (MAD 227.4 Bn) and consumer loans (MAD 55.7 Bn) show respective increases of 3.6%, 8.0% and 1.1%. Meanwhile, equipment loans recorded a decline of -4.1% to settle at MAD 177.3 Bn. Finally, non-profitable loans stood at MAD 83.5 Bn, up 8.2%.
