| MOROCCO | PAYMENT CARDS | The number of transactions in electronic payment activity up 17%
According to CMI, the number of global operations of electronic banking activity, payments and withdrawals carried out by Mo-roccan and foreign bank cards amounts to 381.4 million during the first 9 months of 2022, i.e. up 17.0% compared to the same period of the previous year. In value, the amount of these transactions amounted to MAD 315.3 Bn, up 14.6% during the same pe-riod.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) is providing financial support to Senegal of € 63 Mn. This financial support aims to finance the implementation of the Center agro-industrial transformation zone project, called Agropole-Centre.
