| MOROCCO | CPI | Prices up 1.2% y-o-y in September 2021
In September 2021, the Consumer Price Index showed an increase of 0.7% compared to the previous month. This takes into account the increase of 1.2% in the food product index and of 0.2 % in the non-food product index. On a year-on-year basis, the CPI rose by 1.2%.
Note that the underlying inflation indicator, which excludes products with volatile prices and products with public tariffs, increased by 0.5% compared to August 2021 and by 2.2% compared to September 2020.

According to the Ministry of Mines, Energy and Petroleum of Côte d'Ivoire, natural gas production is estimated at 40,833,727.21 mmBTU in H1 2021. This shows an increase of 5.3% compared to the same period of the year 2020.
