| BURKINA FASO | ONATEL BF | Net income down 4% at the end of September 2020

At the end of September 2020, ONATEL BF revenue rose by 1.0% to settle at FCFA 117 Bn. Meanwhile, the operator’s net income stood at FCFA 20 Bn, down 4.0%.

| MOROCCO | FOREIGN TRADE | Travel receipts down 60% at the end of September 2020

At the end of September 2020, exports of goods and services amounted to MAD 250.5 Bn down 21.0%, while imports of goods and services decreased by 17.7% at MAD 322.2 Bn. Thus, the global trade balance deficit amounted to MAD -71.7 Bn against MAD -74.7 Bn a year earlier. The global coverage rate settled at 77.7%, down 3.2 pts.

Travel receipts dropped by 59.5% to MAD 24.4 Bn while workers’ remittances increased by 2.2% to settle at MAD 50.6 Bn over the same period. Finally, revenues related to foreign direct investments (FDI) fell by 27.5% to MAD 18.4 Bn.
