According to the National Fisheries Office, landings of inshore and artisanal fishery products declined by 1% at the end of October 2024 to stand at 1,102,646 tons. Meanwhile, the sector's revenue settled at MAD 9.2 Bn increasing by 6% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD), Senegal's Harmonized Consumer Prices Index rose by 0.4% in October 2024 compared to the previous month. On an annual basis, the inflation rate stands at -0.2%.
