At the end of September 2020, tourist arrivals declined by 78.0% to 2.2 million tourists. Similarly, overnight stays in classified ac-commodation establishments fell by 69.0% during the same period to 5.9 million.
| SENEGAL | INFLATION | A rate of 2.6% in October 2020
According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography of Senegal, the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index for the month of October 2020 increased by 0.2% compared to that of the previous month. On a y-o-y basis, the inflation rate stood at 2.6% below the community convergence threshold of 3.0% set by the WAEMU.
