Senegal will benefit from a loan worth FCFA 6.56 Bn from the West African Development Bank (BOAD) to partially finance a com-bined cycle thermal power plant with a capacity of 120 MW in Malicounda. This project will ensure better coverage of Demand and secure the electricity Supply in the country.
