| TUNISIA | FOREIGN TRADE | Trade deficit down 18% at the end of February 2021

During the first two months of 2021, Tunisia's exports show a drop of 10.1% to TND 6,839.0 Mn. Likewise, imports fell by 12.0% to TND 8,733.3 Mn. Thus, the trade deficit decreased by 18.3% to TND -1,894.3 Mn, corresponding to a coverage rate of 78.3%, up 1.7 pts compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to the National Institute of Statistics of Cameroon, the trade deficit went from FCFA -1,464 Bn in 2019 to FCFA -1,375 Bn in 2020, thus showing a decrease of 6%.
