| MOROCCO | VEHICLES | Sales up 12% at the end of May 2021 (compared to 2019)
In May 2021, sales of new cars in Morocco amounted to 15,093 units, up 13.6% compared to May 2019. In this context, sales during the first 5 months of 2021 reached 74,049 units, up 11.8% compared to the same period in 2019.
Recall that vehicle sales at the end of May 2020 stood at 36,123 units.


| CEMAC | EXPORTS | The prices of exported raw materials up 19% in Q1 2021
According to the Bank of Central African States, the global index of commodity prices exported by the 6 countries of the CEMAC region shows an increase of 19.4% in Q1 2021 against 4.3% in Q4 2020. Note that this index is based on the prices of 28 commodi-ties exported by CEMAC countries, representing 90% of their exports value.
