| MOROCCO | PORTS | Port traffic down 1.6% y-o-y in 2021

In 2021, the traffic carried through the ports managed by the ANP (National Ports Agency) reached an overall volume of 91 million tons. This shows a decline of 1.6% compared to 2020 and an increase of 3.5% compared to 2019.

| SENEGAL | FOREIGN TRADE | Widening of the trade deficit at the end of November 2021
According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD), Senegal’s exports amounted to FCFA 2,565 Bn at the end of November 2021, up 23.4%. For their part, imports jumped by 17.6% during the same period to settle at FCFA 4,850 Bn. In this context, the country's trade deficit stands at FCFA -2,285 Bn at the end of November 2021 against FCFA -2,045 Bn a year earlier.
