| MOROCCO | PORT TRAFFIC | An increase of 5.1% in 2020

In 2020, traffic carried through the ports managed by the ANP stood at 92.5 million tons, i.e. an increase of 5.1% compared to the previous year. As a reminder, ANP forecasts a 3.6% increase in port traffic during the year 2021.

| WAEMU | FOREIGN TRADE | Reduction of the trade deficit at the end of September 2020

In Q3 2020, exports of WAEMU member countries excluding Benin are valued at FCFA 3,456.0 Bn, down 0.6 % compared to the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the Union's imports excluding Benin increased by 4.7% to FCFA 4,643.9 Bn during the same period. In this context, the trade deficit stands at FCFA -1,187.9 Bn against FCFA -955.6 Bn in Q2 2020. Finally, the cumulative balance at the end of September 2020 settles at FCFA -2,681.6 Bn against FCFA -3,242.6 Bn a year earlier.
