According to the National Airports Office, air traffic amounted to 638,806 passengers in January 2021 against 2,020,647 in the same month of the previous year, i.e. a decrease of 68.4%.

According to the Directorate of Forecasting and Economic Studies, Senegal's expenditure increased by 11.4% in 2020 to stand at FCFA 3,696.3 Bn. Meanwhile, the State’s revenue amounted to FCFA 2,690.1 Bn, down 3.5% compared to 2019. In this context, the fiscal deficit stood at FCFA 1,006.2 Bn at the end of December 2020 against FCFA 528.9 Bn a year earlier.

According to the National Institute of Economic Statistics and Analysis (INSAE), the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index of Benin slightly declined by 0.3% in January 2021, compared to the previous month. On a year-over-year basis, the inflation rate settles at -0.5%.
