| MOROCCO | PORT TRAFFIC | An increase of 7% in 2023

According to the Ministry of Equipment and Water, port traffic crossed the threshold of 200 MT for the first time in 2023 to stand at 209.4 MT against 195 MT in 2022. This represents an increase of 7.4%.

| MOROCCO | FISHING | Sector’s revenue up 19% in January 2024
According to the National Fisheries Office, landings of inshore and artisanal fishery products rose by 15% in January 2024 to stand at 34,805 tons. Likewise, the sector's revenue settled at MAD 1.2 Bn during the same period, up 19% y-o-y.

| BENIN | INFLATION | An inflation rate of -1.2% in January 2024
According to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INSTAD) of Benin, the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index fell by 0.6% in January 2024 compared to the previous month. Year-on-year, the inflation rate stood at -1.2%.
