| MOROCCO | ELECTRICITY | Consumption up 15% at the end of Q3 2021
At the end of Q3 2021, net electricity production in Morocco stood at 11,119 million kWh against 10,764 million kWh a year earlier, i.e. an increase of 3.3%. In addition, electricity consumption stood at 9.505 million kWh during the same period, up 14.8% y-o-y.
| TUNISIA | FOREIGN TRADE | Widening of the trade deficit at the end of November 2021
At the end of November 2021, Tunisia's exports recorded an increase of 20.4% to TND 42,069.6 Mn. Likewise, imports increased by 21.7% to TND 56,723.4 Mn. In this context, the trade deficit widened by 25.6% to TND -14,653.8 Mn, corresponding to a coverage rate of 74.2%. The latter shows a decline of 0.8 point y-o-y.
