| MOROCCO | VEHICLES | Sales down 11% at the end of July 2022
In July 2022, sales of new cars in Morocco amounted to 11,713 units, down 12.3% compared to July 2021. In this context, cumulative sales since the beginning of the year recorded a decline of 11.0% to 95,544 units. In more detail, sales of passenger vehicles fell by 9.7% to 85,771 units and those of light commercial vehicles dropped by 21.3% to 9,773 units.

At the end of June 2022, the traffic carried through the ports managed by the ANP (National Ports Agency) reached an overall volume of 45.2 million tons. This shows a decrease of 2.5% compared to the same period of the previous year
| SENEGAL | INDUSTRY | Rise in industrial production prices at the end of June 2022
According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD), the price of industrial production, excluding cotton ginning, rose by 24.7% at the end of June 2022, year-on-year. This results from the appreciation of extractive (+32.8%) and manufacturing (+26.7%) products.
