| MOROCCO | CPI | Prices up 2.2% y-o-y in July 2021

In July 2021, the Consumer Price Index increased by 0.4% from the previous month. This takes into account the 0.4% increase in both the food product index and non-food product index. On a year-on-year basis, the CPI rose by 2.2%.
Note that the underlying inflation indicator, which excludes products with volatile prices and products with public tariffs, in-creased by 0.4% compared to June 2021 and by 1.7% compared to July 2020.

| BURKINA FASO | INFLATION | Prices up 3.5% y-o-y in July 2021
According to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography, the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index of Burkina Faso in-creased by 0.5% in July 2021 compared to the previous month. Year-on-year, the inflation rate stands at +3.5% above the commu-nity convergence threshold of 3.0% set by WAEMU.
