| MOROCCO | MAROC TELECOM | NIGS down 3% in Q1 2026

In the first quarter of 2026, revenue reached MAD 9.327 million, compared with MAD 8.884 million in Q1 2025, representing a 5.0% increase. EBITDA rose by 6.1% to MAD 4.660 million, while the EBITDA margin improved by 0.6 percentage points to 50.0%. Conversely, net income attributable to the group (NIGS) declined by 3.4% to MAD 1.304 million, leading to a contraction of the net margin from 15.2% to 14.0% over the period.

In a press release, CMT announces the completion, on April 21st 2026, of the acquisition by Ayrad Group Limited of 100% of the shares of OSEAD Fund, an entity indirectly holding, through the Moroccan company OMM, a 37.04% stake in CMT’s capital. At the same time, the settlement agreements concluded with OMM and Shaba Metals LLC have been fully executed, resulting in payments to CMT of $ 35 Mn and $ 12 Mn, respectively. Furthermore, CMT acknowledges the withdrawal filed by the Customs and Indirect Tax Administration, acting on behalf of the Foreign Exchange Office, thereby bringing an end to the legal proceedings initiated against the company in connection with the dispute. This withdrawal entails the cancellation of the penalty imposed on the company in November 2025, amounting to MAD 2,324,307,274.26.

| MOROCCO | PUBLIC FINANCES | Figures in Q1 2026

In Q1 2026, treasury ordinary revenues rose by 8.4% to MAD 116.5 Bn. This trend reflects the 9.2% increase in tax revenues to MAD 107.4 Bn while non-tax revenues decreased by 3.3% to MAD 7.6 Bn. Overall expenses amounted to MAD 111.4 Bn, up 4.4% compared to the same period of the previous year. Note that ordinary expenses and CAPEX recorded respective increases of 1.3% and 6.3% to MAD 101.7 Bn and MAD 29.5 Bn. Meanwhile, subsidies expenses settled at MAD 4.2 Bn during the same period, down 29.4%.

| NIGER | INFLATION | The CPI down 9.8% YoY in March 2026

According to the National Institute of Statistics (INS), the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index of Niger rose by 1.1% in March 2026 compared to the previous month. On an annual basis, this recorded a decrease of 9.8%.
