| MOROCCO | COMPANIES | 8,690 companies were created in January 2025
According to the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), business creations in Morocco reached 8,690 in January 2025, recording an increase of 1.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
In more details, trade represents 36.2% of the new companies, followed by building materials and various services with respective shares of 19.4% and 17.2%.

According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD), Senegal's exports jumped by 68.2% at the end of February 2025 to FCFA 974.5 Bn. Likewise, imports increased by 20.4% to stand at FCFA 1,307 Bn. In this context, the trade balance shows a deficit of FCFA -332.8 Bn at the end of February 2025 compared to FCFA -506.9 Bn a year earlier.
