The Casablanca stock exchange closed today’s trading session on a positive note, with the MASI index advancing by +0.20% to reach 19,819 points. This performance consolidates the strong momentum observed since the beginning of the year, with the year-to-date gain now standing at +34.15%.
On the performance side, Colorado led the market’s advances with a notable increase of +6.7%. Conversely, Fenie Brossette posted the sharpest decline, retreating by -6.7% over the session.
In terms of market activity, the official market recorded a total traded volume of MAD 666 million. The session was marked by strong activity on a few leading stocks, with Alliances, Attijariwafa bank, and TGCC jointly accounting for 33% of the total value traded, underlining their significant role in driving liquidity on the market.
