Today's trends on the Casablanca Stock Exchange
The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed higher at the end of today’s trading session, with the MASI index gaining 0.48% to reach 19,779 points. This positive momentum brings the year-to-date performance of the market to an impressive +33.88%.
Among the top movers, Auto Hall stood out with the strongest increase of the day, jumping by 10.0%. On the other end of the spectrum, Fenie Brossette registered the steepest decline, shedding 3.8%.
Total trading volume on the official market reached MAD 589 million. The session’s activity was largely driven by TGCC, Alliances, and Maroc Telecom, which together accounted for 31% of the overall turnover.
