Market trends on the Casablanca Stock Exchange
At the first trading session of the week, the MASI index recorded a decrease of +3.17% to settle at 16,580 points.
In this context, the YTD performance of the market stood at +12.23%. Wafa Assurance topped the highest increases up +10.0% while Sanlam Maroc decreased by –6.6% recording the strongest decrease of this trading session.
Volume traded on the official market settled at MAD 294 Mn.
This was mainly driven by Marsa Maroc, Maroc Telecom and TGCC which represent 33% of the total flow.
