According to the results of the permanent household survey conducted by HCP, the Household Confidence Index stood at 64.4 pts in Q1 2026, up 6.8 points compared to the previous quarter. Compared to Q1 2025, this displayed an increase of 17.8 pts.

According to the National Agency of Statistics and Demography (ANSD) of Senegal, the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index increased by 0.2% in March 2026 compared to the previous month. On an annual basis, the inflation rate settled at 1.4%.
