In October 2022, cement sales dropped by 16.4% y-o-y to 1,048,975 tons. In this context, cement domestic consumption since the beginning of the year stood at 10,432,401 tons, down 9.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Over the first ten months of 2022, Tunisia’s tourist receipts reached TND 3,427.4 Mn recording an increase of 81.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
| MOROCCO | UNEMPLOYMENT | An unemployment rate of 11.4% in Q3 2022
According to HCP, the unemployment rate in Morocco stood at 11.4% in Q3 2022 against 11.8% during the same period of the pre-vious year. In urban areas, the unemployment rate fell from 16.0% to 15.0% in Q3 2022. In rural areas, it remained stable at 5.2%.
