According to the National Fisheries Office, landings of inshore and artisanal fishery products declined by 1% in 2024 to stand at 1,336,058 tons. Meanwhile, the sector's revenue settled at MAD 11.0 Bn increasing by 6% compared to the previous year.

According to the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INSD) of Burkina Faso, the Harmonized Consumer Prices Index decreased by 0.2% in December 2024 compared to the previous month. On an annual basis, the inflation rate settled at 4.9%.
